How do you adjust the throttle on a Queen Bee .074?
The Cox Queen Bee .074 has a screen over the carb intake so I can't see how much the throttle is open/closed. How's this work?

X you should be able to hold it up under a desk lamp ,,move it back and forth until you get the orientation...,,usually on my norvels that come with screens they get yanked right off the bat...Rog

Yank that screen off. It is a nice engine but I had to use a short 4 stroke plug to resist flaming out at idle due to "sweating". This is mentioned in your instruction book.
I could never get the throttle linkage right, suggestions on looping the throttle wire before attahing it to the airplane works best. The throttle arm has a long arc to it. I have the plans to the Spirit of 74. This plane was designed with the queen bee in mind too. Don't let it fool you! It is a fun plane to fly and a little on the fast side! Lands like it is on rails! Another good plane is the Jodel BEBE shown here with an OS .10. A little more work but another great plane. http://www.rcstore.com/rs/general/de...7891&catego=PL http://www.rcstore.com/rs/general/de...4971&catego=PL |
