What do you use to remove CA?

So, my amazing BrightStar 40 has seen enough hanger rash on the stab that I just can't bare to repair it anymore. I need to replace the stab, I want to replace the stab, just to show my baby that I care :) . So, I can order a new one from my local hobby shop, thats not a problem but what in creation do I use to remove the CA and 5min epoxy that I put it on with? Please note that I have no damage to this plane other than monokote patch jobs and a few minor cracks from say, um, falling of my workbench or dinging it on the doorjam on my way home.

Any and all options appreciated.

PS. If anybody wants a step up from their trainer but doesn't want to goto an Extra 300 or etc, the Brightstar 40 is an amazing aircraft that does more than enough aerobatics. I love this thing.

Hi fellow canuck. Careful sanding down to the wood is what I've done. Acetone rubbed briskly to get epoxy or CA off of covering works well. Unless the covering has a "printed design" on it. Now I'm going to my fav web site and check out the Bright star.

There is a product called ca debonder that works wonders with ca, unless you have glued your fingers together. ;) They must of worked long and hard to figure out how to make it debond anything but your fingers. A heat gun will soften epoxy enough to disassemble parts. But be advised it will ruin the covering on anything within 3" of where you direct the heat. Good luck. Garry

Acetone or sandpaper is what I use.
