I am not quite sure what you are trying to do. The darkness of the picture makes it very to determine what you are trying to do. Perhaps a sketch or a lightened up photo will show the problem.

Yes, the picture is almost impossible to see what you are talking about. How are you trying to bend the wire now? Are you using a vise to hold the wire in while you are trying to bend it?

I'm trying to bend that wire up 90 degrees. You can almost see where the bend is starting. That bend took me 15 minutes to make with a bender. Do you have any Ideas on how to make it easier or faster?

Thanks, Dave Trimmer

RE: tail question

It's a wire coming off of the stock tail gear. It goes up through a bushing, and then has to be bent 90 degrees out to enter a hole in the LE of the rudder--for directional control. I just had to do one on my giant stick. It was not fun. First off, you need to turn the wheel to a 90 degree angle to the fuse. This will help you hold the wire while you bend it. Then, get ahold of the wire with some good, strong vice grips. Now, take some good large pliers (or channel locks) and bend the wire 90 degrees OUT--in the same direction of the wheel. This is easier than trying to hold the wheel parallel to the fuse, and then trying to bend the wire out, away from the vertical stab.

hope this made enough sense to help...
