Servo Specs

I just bought a flight pack with JR ST125MG servos. These things retail for $33. JR claims that they have 125 OZ/in of torque at 4.8V, metal (anodized) gears and ball bearings.

Given the price, these seem too good to be true. Anyone else have more insight into servo specs? I may be missing something.

RE: Servo Specs

They are not digital which is the current rage. However, these are fairly heavy duty and will work good for most applications. $33.00 seems fairly average for this type servo.

RE: Servo Specs

Considering that you can get a standard type servo from around $10.00 that has a 42 oz. torque then a higher torque servo with metel gears for $33.00 sounds about right. [8D]
