Balancing my trainer
OK here we go again I am at a loss for words/ideas. I just finished jamming a supertigre 51 into my trainer. Thats OK but the st exhaust is heavy and bulky what can i do to balance it out so that my tx is not all trimmed out so I can't tip my left wing down for fear of the plane plummeting out of the sky
The trainer is a hirobo sky trend max and yes I have the stock supertigre exhaust header and muffler in place hanging way out the right side if the plane. kelly |
RE: Balancing my trainer
You can use 1/4 oz weights sold at almost any hobby store ... but for latteral ballancing, I've never really needed any more than a couple pennys and a couple drops of CA or superglue. Start with a penny on the wing tip. If it's too heavy, slide it in toward the fuse till it ballances out and glue it to the bottom of the wing. It might not be as bad as you think though. The torque of the engine should counter the muffler weight. Any latteral ballancing should be done before the engine is installed.
