Beginner hills in socal?

Anyone know of any good beginner hills in socal. I'm just learning to fly and looking for a place where recovering my glider won't be too difficult. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

SoCal is a little broad, how about a city so we can avoid telling you some place 80 miles away.... but odds are you're gonna have to spend more than a few minutes in the car

Yup,

There are a few...I don't fly gliders, but if you go to this site:

http://www.coronarcclub.com

and e-mail the webmaster, there is a glider site just East of their field. They share frequency time with the slope guys...and join them as well.

Sheesh man, there are nothing but hills around here...you will find something, I'm sure.

Good Luck!!

We had nothing but hills in AltaLoma/Cuccamonga... well, Hills & rocks.... mostly rocks.
Could tell of some places way uphill from Cable Airport, if you like landing in boulders if you miss the road
