Power, props, and gears
I have a mini funtana and have a few questions. One is the gears in some of the servos I stripped from moving them around as I dissassembled some things. Is there anywhere you can get gears to replace the ones inside the servos? Also is there certian props I can get that pull better then others? What do the numbers mean? Right now I have a 12X6E? Last question, I feel like my Park 480 motor isnt running as fast, is there anything to check that could be not allowing it to run at full speed? Thanks.

RE: Power, props, and gears
To answer a couple of items: Contact the manufacturer of your servos to see if replacement gear sets are available. Tiny servos can be trick to assemble, though. The first number of a prop's designation is the diameter and the second number is its pitch.

RE: Power, props, and gears
bigger pitch means the airplane will go faster but will lack in pulling power longer prop means more pulling power but slower revolving prop. Its a balancing act between having the proper size prop so that you get maximum speed or tractor power without overloading an engine which will cause it to produce less power. Follow recommended prop sizing then experiment with minor changes to determine what is best for your needs.
