New Trainer ... need help fast!

Does anyone know where I can pick up a cheap retractable landing gear for my new trainer? I also want to add flaps to it but I'm low on funds right now.

Please help!

Hi bigdanusa,
If that is the picture of your trainer, probably not, retracts are for a little heavier planes.
Same with the flaps, you won't need it for that plane.
I would recommend you go over to the park flyer section of the electric forum. Good Luck!

I'm also going to convert it to gas and stick a nice 4-stroke on it when I get my next paycheck.

I can't wait for payday to roll around!

Skip the gas/4 stroke idea, I think [link=http://www.wren-turbines.com/]this[/link] is the best power choice! ;)

You have got to be nuts to try an do that.

Flaps might work but don't count on hooking up retracts. Nothing will hold a fourstroke in that plane with what it is made off. Gas planes can be converted to electric but electircs can not be converted to Gas.

Maybe you should try digital servos...

I've decided not to go with a 4-stroke engine so I ordered the one below. I don't know if it's gas or electric but I'll know when I get it in the mail for my new bird.

Silly questions and answers are a part of beginner's in the this hobby, so I'll let a lot of threads stay open that would get closed in other threads. But this has gone way past the silly question stage. Well into troll. I'm closing this thread down as there is nothing good to come out of it.
