4Ch or 3Ch

Hi again. Ok i want a 4ch rc, but i know that they are advanced. I have a tight budget, so i cant get 1 plane that get a new plane soon as im good with the 4ch one. Is it possible to block one channel or maybe do you think i can do 4Ch but it will be harder? Whats your opinion? [8D]

Go with 4 channel.
Most standard trainers are 4 channel and most people I know recommend you learn on a 4 channel plane.

Yes, start with a 4 ch radio, you can use 1, 2, 3, or all 4 channels.

If you get a 3 channel radio, you'll have to buy a new one when you want to move up to 4

DEFINATELY 4 ch. You can't use ailerons without the extra channel. You can get one of the cheaper Tower Hobbies radios, they are Futaba clones and work great.

As others have said, go with 4 channels. Also, if you're on a tight budget, try contacting a local club before you buy anything. Sometimes they will know of someone who tried the hobby, didn't like it, and is selling off their stuff for a really good price.

You should get in touch with a local club and get all the help you can from them, including learning to fly, it will definately help your budget. And YES the 4 channel is better >> check with a club !!!

I hate it when a student comes out that just bought what ever anyone says they need, chances are they got a lousey plane, a radio that is out of date or not compatable with anything, the engine is either way to big or small and they have a bunch of junk in their flight box that they don't really need yet, if ever. Then they get bent because the instructor says it won't work. [:o]

Sorry about the preaching, but think about it. [:-] ENJOY !!! RED
