A biplane is good.

The GP Ultimate is a great bipe. But one of the best out there has got to be the Sig Hog Bipe. I've had 3 of them and they are probably one of the best flying bipes out there

Nope, in Oz our seasons change on the 1st of whatever month because we don't use the position of the sun like most (if not all) the rest of the world does. This may be because us Aussies find it easier to remember :D

G'day to you too

Just out of curiosity, what's meant by "bad weather" in Victoria? In my part of the world (Finland) we (at least I) fly all the year round, even in sub-zero temperatures (and yes, that's sub-zero temperatures even if we talk Fahrenheit: -18C equals minus nought point something F, and we fly even then, if we get our engines started :D) So are we talking rain and high winds, basically?

G'day,

yeah pretty much, i live & fly near the bay so i always get the sea breeze and it rains every other day in winter, yet we have a so called "drought" hehe

Happy Flying

RE: First day of winter......

Yeah, the rain sucks when you want to fly. If I get desperate, I sometimes put my transmitter in a plastic carrier bag (separate holes for neck strap and antenna :)) and fly in the rain. I wouldn't actually go to the flying field if it's raining, but if it starts raining when I'm there, I might do this.

Hang in there, and winter will soon be over (and, alas, so will our summer [:o]).

PS. Say hello to my uncle in Perth, WA if you run into him. :D
