RE: 6EXA

Was it a flight pack (transmitter, receiver, servos, ect...) or just the transmitter?
New or used?

Just alone, that should be around the correct price of the transmiter. If you bought it new with a flight pack its a good deal.

(I. E. the 6EXA with micro pack costs $160 for the Tx, 3 micro servos, and a 6 channel small reciever.)

I paid 85 dollars for a used one with a battery. Sounds like a good deal. You will love the 6EXA. It is a great "first" computer radio. I am super happy with mine. Download the manual off of futaba's website. Programming is easy.

Then it's a good buy, presume it must be second-hand though.
