I am very new and my i was given a plan which is just the frame and wings and has every thing ready. I also have all the servos and such. Is there a website that shows how to mount an engine and how to connect the servos with the wings. i dont know to much about the planes , all i know is that my plane says on it N3953C. thank you for your time. |
RE: building a plane
An idea for you, look on various manufacturers websites like Hanger9, Sig, Great Planes ect.. and find a downloadable instruction manual, That will get you a good idea on what to do.
If you could post a picture of yours we can tell you more. |

RE: building a plane
From the pictures that you posted it looks like some type of Cessna 182, although I can't tell from which manufacturer.

RE: building a plane
roverks, you've got a flying field in town at Osgood and Grimmer. Drop by on a Saturday morning and take a look around. Bring the plane along and you'll probably find plenty of answers to your questions.

i will try to come to the field, and also i found this manual but it seems like an old one, do you know of any that are better. http://www.greatplanes.com/manuals/g...anual-v1_1.pdf |
RE: building a plane
Great planes manuals are about as good as it gets. Definitely get with that club. It sound like you haven't flow before so get with an instructor as well which the club would do for free. This is a great second model but wouldn't recommend training on it.
