Battery overcharging
Hello all:
I recently purchased the Red Hawk trainer aircraft (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...69608?v=glance). Assembly went well; I'm charging the battery now. I read the manually thoroughtly and it states that the 12v battery charger will shut off once the battery is fully charged. But, it doesn't say that about the AC battery charger. It says that the LED light will go out, but it doesn't specifically state that the battery will stop charging, although I'm assuming that it will. Is it possible to overcharge the battery by leaving it in the charger after the full 12 hours? Again, the manual didn't mention this; it only states that overcharging is possible when using the 12v charger while your vehicle is running. Thanks. -- Steve |
RE: Battery overcharging
Maybe its possible but i've been take the battery for more than 12 hours connected to the AC wall charger ... I think it's doesn't a problem... I have the same plane than you and i've been learned on it.. Good Look. I agree the assamble is very easy.
