Storch value

Well unfortunately I am going to have to get rid of some of my planes to make way for a new one and I've come across one which I can't seem to estimate a value for. It's a fiesler fi-156 storch. It has a 70 inch wingspan with flaps and takes a .40 sized 2 stroke engine. It has never been flown and still needs a servo tray, gas tank, and some other small ends. The plane does not come with a radio or engine. I do not know what make it is, for I had bought it off a guy who was getting out of the hobby and he had apparently bought it off some other guy. The plane is covered in a wallpaper type fabric and has a pull-pull rudder. So if you guys could help me estimate a price for this bird that would be great. Here's some pics of the plane.

Maybe $50-100???? I would not think anymore than that unless you found someone who is looking for something specific. Just a guess[sm=confused.gif]

i say let the market decide... put her on ebay!!! if i saw that and i lived in canada, depending on the condition of the plane, i'd say i'd pay from $100 to $200. $200 if it's like new (like a just put together ARF) and $100 if it's put together well but not in good shape (cowl scratched up and not cut well. covering coming off in places and not taute)

i just bought a top flite AT-6 for $200 that was well built and covered well. but that's me!

Since this hobby isn't a 401 retirement plan, my suggestion would be to try to get back what you paid for it used or even a slight loss.
Each region and country produces different values for the same planes. What I've noticed here is that Canadian prices are much higher than the central U.S.
