Wing Reinforcement

I have recently bought a Hobbyzone Aerobird Challenger and am hearing stories about the wing folding while doing tricks or tight turns. Is this something to be worried about? Should I reinforce it with wire or balsa wood or should I just replace the wing periodically?

Two 18" strips of 3/4" nylon tape on underside near front and rear.
