Flying in Kona
 

Aloha Everyone!

As a Newbie to this hobby, & am enjoying it BIG TIME!!! I would like to say the threads in this section have been a great help, and a wealth of information. :D

As it is summertime and people go on vacations, I would like to invite everyone if you're visiting us on the Big Island of Hawaii in Kona, to come on down to the "Old Kona Airport" on Sundays. The Kona R/C flyers fly from 7am to 12pm. We fly planes, helis, gliders. Come on down and introduce yourselves! As we say in Hawaii "E Komo Mai" Welcome!;)

We just had the pleasure of visitors from Michigan!!! Enjoying our beautiful hot & sunny weather[8D]

Id gladly leave everything and come over, its the middle of winter here, cold rainy and windy, not fun and not much flying weather.

G'day Mate,
Come up & see us in Wingham on the north coast NSW, we have not missed a Sunday flying since the long weekend in June, & we have a Sausage Sizzle every Sunday as well, we went to Coffs Harbour for the fun fly on the long weekend & it rained all day Saturday, but was fine on the Sunday & monday. So come up & see us any Sunday.

Thank you very much Alan, hopfully one day when i get the spare time i just may do that! Right now all i have time to fly is park flyers.
