Easiest to Fly?
 

Quick and simple, between the PZ FW-190 and the PZ P-51, which would be easier to handle and fly? I really need to know!

Hey how does World Models (Airborne Models in US I think) compare price wise.

Here In HK it is cheap. They are usually good to extremely good quality ARF. They do a whole range of elecric warbirds, a chipmunk and in another month they are bringing out two other acrobatic electric craft. Don't go for the midget mustang cos that is for a real experienced pilot - super sensitive.

The reason I bring it up was I saw in the one of the Ratings of the PZ Mustange they have own receiver ESC that is not compatialbe with other components (??).

So if you are really getting into this hobby you could go to another brand and invest in your own radio gear that would be interchangeable between all your models.

Given your question, I seem to recall a review of the PZ FW-190 that stated it flew "even better" than the PZ P-51.

I think they do very well price-wise. I live within 20 miles of them. Airborne Models is just one of the American distributors for World Models. So far everything I have bought from them has been covered flawlessly & most of their models come with pretty good hardware too, at least I think it's pretty decent. Between myself & a few flying buddies we do quite a bit of regular business with them. No complaints from me!;)

i know it goes against the grain but i think that any sensible person could fly either the p-51 or fw-190 as a first plane,on low rates they are super docile,the only problem would be with the launch.i know of 2 people who had the p-51 as their first plane and had no problems at all.

Maybe I should look in to Airborne models, they don't seem tooo bad at all. Maybe an ARF would be the right choice.

I'm really liking the chipmunk SnowBoyd was talking about! It says on the website that all I'll need is a radio+4 servo's, does that mean no charger, battery, or anything else like that then?

Even though it doesn't say it, you are still going to need a battery to power the onboard radio and a charger to charge that battery. Most manufacturers assume that the flyer has those items because they do come with any radio that you will buy.

Ya know they have a new VooDoo Mustang electric Arf out now for $99 & the little Midget Mustang for $79 I have opened the box & checked them out. These are pretty kewl little planes. They both come with a brushless motor (outrunner I believe, but don't hold me to that) anyway they are very tempting little electrics. Especially the VooDoo, the Midget is nice too but it is really tiny, it would be hard for me to fly I think while the VooDoo is only $20 more with a decent size wingspan & a wild purple color scheme you're gonna see this one coming!
