Wikiup, and the rattlesnake roundup! (Arizona...) I like mine best marinated and barbequed like the guy in San Diego showed me how to... These guys did theirs deep fried, but coiled up to keep the shape.

Yeah, I've had C-rations before. But T-rations were something the army served in the field. They were kind of like huge TV dinners. They came in huge metal tins that would be heated in water and then opened to serve out of. They would come packaged as a whole meal that would be used to serve the entire unit. The were normally prepared by the mess section and served in the chow line. They weren't too bad really (of couse some were better than others). I loved the ones that came with huge cans of chocolate pudding for dessert!!!! :D

I would say that we ate in the chow hall unless we were in the field, but I know that those Air Force guys don't know what the field is!!!!! :)

Here is part of my first covering attempt that is not a repair, (although I have had to repair it also, already). I had to fit it together to check and see where it was going to balance at to determine where to mount the electronics. So far, it balances perfectly with the Saito 91 in the nose. This is the Venture 60.

The covering takes longer than the wood build portion. I had to keep it simple (kiss principle - Keep It Simple, Stupid) but it does seem to get a little easier as you go along and get more feel for the Ultracote.
