My name is jacob rogers and i am fairly new to the wonderful world of r/c airplane flying. I currently own a Hobbyzone firebird and a completely totaled Nikko windjammer. I was hoping one of you would have some info about a clancy lazy bee or cox lazy bee. My firebird is too tame for me now. Which little plane is better. thank you for your time

An Aerobird may be a good plane. It can do loops and rolls due to it's third channel (elevator- pitch control). Although, it may get boring too soon for you. Go to Horizon Hobby. They sell them.

I suggest the Avistar Select from tower hobbies. $300.00 and complete with everything except support equipt. Engine, radio, servos,etc already installed and takes only 30 minutes to have ready for flight except for charging batteries. I learned on one 9 months ago and still love flying it. Most bang for the buck........

Jacob,I think that the magazine ,Rc Report is published somewhere around Huntsville and a call to them would probally be a great resourse for you.If you are new or not so new,I would reccomend to anybody to subscribe to that mag.They have a section called,In the beginning,which is written for newbies.I am also sure they can point you to a club field if you're not already a member somewhere.My 2 cents worth.

Hobbico Sturdy Bird II..The best plane i have ever had.....All acrobatics,Trainer,Combat,...I do everything with it...Put on a magnum .46 and it runs.... :D

The avistar has a semi-symmetrical airfoil and while it is a good trainer, it is capable of some basic aerobatics. The construction is fairly strong and it is a good quality arf. I would recommend the monokoted arf version. Can't go wrong with it. Good luck !

If you want an ARF that you can BEGIN to learn to build, a Tower Hobbies Trainer 40 is GREAT! I own one and it is easy to build, easy to fly, EXTREMELY forgiving. It's just an all around good beginner plane.
