Oh no!!!!!! WHY?!!!
 

Well... on my other post, I mentioned adding a custom 8-cell 9.6v 2500 mAH battery to a 480 SC motor. I wanted more power and flying time than the 7-cell 8.4v 1000 mAH stock battery it came with.

So I went to RadioShack to buy $20 worth of connectors, wires, straps, and battery holders and spent 1.5 hours planning on how to attatch the 8 AA cells on the plane - ONLY TO FIND OUT THE THE NI-MHs CANNOT DISCHARGE FAST ENOUGH TO POWER THE MOTOR, RECEIVER, AND SERVOS!

It is so infuriating!!!!! [:@] All that to find out that the batteries aren't compatible...

Please, if anyone could help to make the batteries discharge faster or find a kind of ni-mh that will have a sufficiant discharge rate, please tell me about it.

On the plus side those 8 AA NiMH batteries are perfect for your Transmitter.
I am using NiMH in mine and can fly for days without recharging.
