From the products description on the website. See bolded text

Hitec’s latest Micro receiver is now available individually and bundled in several new affordable flight packs and radio systems. The innovative Micro 05MS receiver features auto shift and can be operated using ANY brand of modern FM transmitter! Designed for small airplanes, the 5 channel Micro 05MS receiver uses the 5th channel as channel 6 to accommodate two aileron servos in today’s more sophisticated high performance electric aircraft.
It will work with your Futaba radio. But I would be more concerned with the fact that it says "Designed for small airplanes". I'm not sure what they mean by small, but I would think they are talking about park flyers and such. This may be a problem for you.

R C Jack,

Hitec makes several great receivers at good proces. Be sure to specify it's for a Futaba TX when you order.

It's listed as having a 1 mile + range, which is good, but it's only a single conversion, which means it won't reject interference as well as a dual conversion. And, as ken said, it appears to be designed for park fliers. While it's got a good range, it may not have the physical strength inside to stand up to the vibrations of a glow engine.

I've got several Electron 6 receivers, they work well.
