monkote trim sheets

Question concerning monokote trim. Do you cover with the trim or is it for putting on OVER an existing layer of monokote?

Trim sheets are used over existing covering.

I have used it to cover large repairs and I have used it as primary covering material on small models in the past without problems.

I have always used it over monokote. I cover then entire model in my base color then apply the trim on top of that. It goes on real easy if you wet the surface with 409, apply the trim piece and move to the exact location you want then squeege out the 409 and any bubbles. It will then stick perfect.

So far, nobody's mentioned a very important point. Monokote Trim Sheet is NOT fuel proof. It's only fuel resistant and will come off after time.
