RE: any info
jaygongin,
Haven't heard of that plane before. The radio sounds like is a standard Futaba air born - the S148 servo's are the older standard servo, and the receiver is the standard that will work with any newer radio (just watch the high/low bands). As far as the covering - sounds like that tail needs to be recovered. You may want to take a good look at all the covering on the plane - if it's not in the greatest of shape it may be just as easy to strip and recover the whole plane. This will also allow for a good inspection of the entire structure. If your not in a club, try to locate one - I'm sure there are some members there that will be happy to look the plane over for you. Sounds like you have the making for a good trainer. Hogflyer |

RE: any info
It's a race a bunch of guys are having in North Carolina for planes powered by Cox reed valve engines.
Here's the thread from the beginning - it's in the 1/2A forum. Some fun reading as these guys poke fun at each other. As far as I know Banjoairplane will be one of the participants (a bit to far for me to make the drive or else I'd be there too). http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_4693988/tm.htm Hogflyer |
