OUCH!

Sorry about the plane, but now you get to build and fly a new one. I just maidened a SIG Mayhem and I love it. Get a Saito 1.25 for that one.

In a spin or snap, up-elevator is the enemy most of the time. Good luck!!

G'day Mate,
CHECK your SWITCH, if it is faulty, that WILL cause you to have no radio response, worth a good look mate, or if you use the same one in your next plane, she will go down too. Better yet buy a new switch, & throw the old one away, Safer that way.

That stinks, sorry to hear about your loss. But please know that it happens to all of us at one time or another. Just get busy and get something else ready to fly!!! :D

Woke up this morning and first thing that was on my mind was to rebuild.......I have a wrecked Harrier that I inherited, fuse somewhat in tact, wings badly damaged. My 4* had very little damage to the wings.........Who knows,I'll strip 'em both and see what happens! Keep ya posted........ Alan0899, switch seemed O.K. servos all worked(stripped) on the table after the crash.Voltage was good 5.6,radio at 10.5.........The suspected part was the receiver. No antena was attached ! It was broken off at the receiver.Impact? But was not with the wreckage we carried back to the table. It was an older receiver that had proven itself in my trainer...How it got in the Four* is another story. But I'll take your advise and discard old switch. Thanks!

Hey, check with Sig, you might find the price for a new fuse isn't that bad, either as a kit or built. If the wings are good that's what I'd do.

Decided to go with the 4* fuse..Already have the cowl repaired (with a twist) used a Funtana cowl and built up the front of fuse. Being careful not to make it too heavy.I'm going to cover in black, only yellow left will be tail feathers. I'll send some pics soon!

Here is an updated picture of the "Four 60 Star". This plane is a slight variation of the old Four Star 60 ! [8D]

How come when I click for fullsize, the pics are still small? I' dlove to see some closeups of that cowl. I'm considering buying one from Fiberglass Specialties for the Four* 60 kit I just received.

Ah, no problem. I figured it was something like that.

Which cowl did you use for yours? It looks good.
