Does the radio have end point adjust, or adjustable travel volume? That should be your answer.

Yes
However in would like it explained as to how to inticialy set servo, does servo need to be centered or at max closed throttle proir to connecting pushrod also carb maybe I didn't explain my problem correctly

Throttle adjustment
Center the servo.
You can also adjust throws manually to get it close then use end point adjustments |
Throttle adjustment
OK here goes....
Center the servo by connecting it to another channel eg elevator and switching the radio on. Make sure the tx sticks are centered then switch off, switching the receiver off first. Make sure the servo horn is straight in the middle of its travel. Connect the pushrod to the servo and throttle. Adjust the pushrod so that the throttle if half way open. Switch the radio back on. Push the throttle slowly to full. Hopefully, the throttle will open or you'll need to reverse the travel first. Enter the menu by pushing up the two switches together. By selecting 'scroll' and 'channel' you should find the option for 'TRV ADJ' with THR swown at the top right of the screen. With the stick towards the top of its travel the display will probably read +100% You just need to select 'increase' or 'decrease' so that when the stick is fully up, the throttle is fully open. When you move the throotle stick down the display will change to - 100%. Make the same adjustment so that when the stick is fully down there the carb barrel is almost closed with just a small gap. The final adjustment for the idle can be made with the throttle trim when the engine is running. If this radio has a throttle cut button you should find that it will completely close the carb when the engine is set to idle. Hope that helps.... |
