RE: Kits
I don't believe you can buy a kit for a glow plug. All the ones I've seen are ARF. :D

http://www.malhobby.com/MALkits.html http://www.merchantamerica.com/www.r...&category=3208 http://www.stevensaero.com/shop/home.php?cat=248 Hardest part of building a glow plug is to get that nichrome soldered down in the bottom of the hole - especially if you're building one with an idle bar plug. :) [Dr1, you're as big a wise arse as I is. ;-)] |
RE: Kits
Getting the wire in isn't hard, it's spiralling it just right and then not shorting it when soldering it in place. (actually it needs welding):D

Everybody's gotta be good at something! I've never built a plug, but I've done some Heathkits and Archerkits. Dr.1 |

Yea, Tower, McCoy, K&B, OS... Dr.1 PS Well, y'all called me one, I'm just trying to live up to the name. :D |
RE: Kits
I can't even un-build a plug. I tried drilling out the center contact of a plug to make a charge adapter. All I ended up with was a shorter drill bit.
