Need Throttle linkage Info.
 

Hello all, many years ago I used a throttle linkage which had 2 springs mounted on a wire. When the servo arm reached the max.
it would compress the spring instead of jamming at the end.
Does anyone remember the name of it and who made it?

I remember a servo saver like that but I dont know what it was called, it slides thru the block on the servo arm with a spring on either side to absorb the over-run. That's the one I used years ago, seems it could of been dubro or sig.

What type of radio do You have? (It must not have travel adjustments if You are looking for the saver) just curious.

I will look in my old catalog and see if I can get a name and part#

Those servo savers are also excellent for steerable nose wheels. On rough terrain (or bad landing) they can absorb some of the impact from the front wheel, and save the servo. :cool:

Thank you all for the throttle linkage info. Hit the Button [Opps] Nail right on the head. Also Wornboots-Jim the transmitter I am
using (would you believe) is a 30 year Plus Futaba. It was given to me by a ham friend who use to fly in competition for Futaba.
I know everyone is proberly saying [it is not legal] however it is on 53 mhz freq. and I have been a ham fer many years. I am starting to get into RC again after about 35 years. My son was trying to teach me to fly way back then. Time is quickly running out for me cause I will turn 73 years old this year, so if I am going to do it, I better hurry up.

You're only as old as you let yourself feel. A few years ago I encountered an 86 year old who had just bought his first computer! If he can learn computers at 86, then learning RC should be alot more relaxing at 73. :thumbup:
