Buddy Box

I need a buddy box to work with a JR 7202 TX. I would like to be able to teach some of my friends and family how to fly without having to wreck as many planes as I have. What exactly do I need. I'd like to keep it inexpensive.

RE: Buddy Box

You need another JR transmitter and a cable. The cable is a simple two-conductor phono jack cable. You can get it from JR or you can get it at radio shack. Virtually every JR transmitter made in the last 10 years will work as a buddy box. you may be able to find a used one for cheap on rcuniverse or ebay.

RE: Buddy Box

When using a JR buddy box the buddy box needs to have a charged battery in it.

Before buying a buddy box check with you LHS, many hobby shops will rent a buddy box for a small fee. Also, if you haven't joined the AMA yet please check out this page, [link]http://www.modelaircraft.org/promos/1/[/link] . They are running a promotion where you can receive a Airtronics or JR buddy box when you join the AMA. There a few restrictions so make sure you read the promotion offer to make sure you qualify.

Hope this helps

Ken
