ESC to Receiver
Looking for an answer to a problem....[&o]
New to Electric Flight....[X(] Unable to get motor to run.... E-flite 25-Amp Pro Brushless ESC.... Futaba Receiver R114F. On the receiver they say that Ch4-Batt. Then Ch3 is throttle on the ESC leads. Unable to figure this one out. As the leads on the ESC have not guide to fit into the receiver for correct orientation. |
RE: ESC to Receiver
Welcome to RCU. Perhaps a better forum for your question would be one of the "electric" forums RCU offers such as
http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/forumid_123/tt.htm or RCU's sister site dedicated to electric flight www.wattflyer.com Other than this we are more than happy to try to help you. Speaking only for myself, I know next to nothing about electric planes. |

Many thanks for the links.............have a great day......[8D] |
RE: ESC to Receiver
Just pretend that your esc is a throttle servo and plug it into the throttle channel of your reciever. The battery eliminator circuit will supply 4.8 volts to the reciever through the throttle channel. As soon as you connect your lipo to the esc through the power plug, the reciever should come on and your servos should all work. Most esc's are designed to not arm if it is powered up with the throttle not at idle so make sure that your throttle channel isn't reversed on the transmitter.
