RE: Noob Question

I think they are 4-40 flat head screws...your local hobby shop should carry

This is for the ones I own.
The square part above your gearbox is designed to slide onto a beam that protrudes from the front of your plane. I have seen both wood and aluminum beams used. It can be glued on or a hole drilled and a wood or sheet metal screw put in.

Yes home depot will have them. Take the motor with you to test fit.

RE: Noob Question

If electric just about any spray paint will do. Keep it light/thin.

What are you painting? The engine area or the whole plane?

RE: Noob Question

Whole plane so spray paint works?

RE: Noob Question

With the 1/16 wood you're building that plane out of I'd be worried about warping it with the moisture from the spray paint. Use some microlite covering or somthing... Dont paint it
