NITRO wont start
hey guys i jsut got a hpi nitro rs4 used from some guy... when i was there he started it easily

NITRO wont start
First and most obvious would be glow-plug. How's your ignitor? Does it have enough power? Take your plug out and see if it glows red, not just gets hot. If it doesn't, it's either your battery of your plug. If you have another plug you know to be good, check it with that battery. Just process of elimination. This is usually why they abruptly quit.
Don't change a whole lot of anything until you know this. If you have changed anything put it back to where it was. Try this, and get back to us. :) |
When you say it ran for about
five minutes, what were the conditions? Was it on the bench, in the buggy, or in the dirt? Is it possible that some dirt or other foreign matter got in the carb

NITRO wont start
well it was a flooded engine.. thank for all ur help.... the thing with it is now is it goes on then shuts off so i have to pull again... should i just adjust the air and gas ratio? would this be cuz its lean... also which way do i turn the knob....
|
Not familiar
With those engines. Send a picture! Generally when you turn the needle(knob?) in or clockwise, it causes a leaner mixture (More air/less fuel) Let us know.
