Just thought I would ask this...
 

Ive noticed that this forum is extremely huge as far as members are concerned. Ive seen alot more different ppl posting on here than on other forums. I was wondering if out of all the ppl here if anyone was from or around Canton Tx?
Reason I ask is cause my friend and I are looking to learn more about flying from other ppl and possibly join a club , as long as entrance is not ridiculous.
We have both been flying about a month now, and we are getting pretty good with our planes. Less crashes and repairs lol. Im trying to find more ppl in our area whether in a club or not that we can get together with and have some fun flying and learning a few things along the way.;)

Check with your local hobby shops (LHS) too. They'll know of any group of flyers in your area.

Hey Thx for the info:D I used the link that was given but didnt come up with anything in my area. It just so happens that through just being at the right place at the right time my buddy and I found a flyer pinned to a pole where we normally fly that was about an air field about 10 miles from us. We went and checked it out. All the guys there are a great group of ppl--very nice and very helpfull. After seeing those nitro power planes fly it was kinda hard to bring out my little electric,lol. I have decided to go and buy a nitro powered plane as my second aircraft[>:] Oh and fly with an instructor of course.

There is nothing to be ashamed of in the electric but save it for fun flying around the house, maybe at a ball field or something like that.

Call me cynical, but I sometimes think it's a little spooky how nice most of the folks are whom you meet in this hobby.
