Beginner Guidelines

Isn't this advice inherently biased because only electric aircraft are considered?

I thought some good ideas were expressed there. I especially like the explanation of how even a 'slow' plane can crash in a second or two. However, I don't agree with the idea that a student should start with just a three channel plane. The way I teach, a student starts with just learning the ailerons and elevator after I've got the plane up to altitude and speed. So actually, they're only using two channels at first, then the other two are added in later.

Of course, everybody has different opinions...
