What do you think?

I was givin this plane along with a bunch of others (this is the olny complete one). Do you think this would be a good plane to start with it is 4 channel and has an wingspan of around 54-55 inches with an .40 K&B engine. I have never flow rc planes before but want to get into it. I have both nitro boats and trucks.

That is a Goldberg Tiger 2.

Very great plane but it's geared more as a 2nd airplane. If you do decide to fly it be sure to hook up with an instructor and buddy link with him. It would be very difficult to get it up yourself... especially if it's your first airplane.

Its not quite complete. You will need to pack some foam around teh fuel tank and make a lid that is mounted with screws so that you can get at the tank if you need to. Other wise its a nice plane, but not a trainer. [8D]

thundercat:

If you don't have the top hatch, make one. Be sure and replace all the fuel lines, check the stopper in the tank, make sure its not leaking. Pack foam around the tank.
I don't know what equipment you have: Transmitter, receiver, servos, etc. But, check it all. It would be great if you could take the plane to the flying club in your area, and have the resident pro's check it over.

With an instructor on the "buddy box" with you, I think this would work as a trainer.

That's not a Tiger, but it's similar.

It COULD be a good trainer. but only id you have a good instructor

And BTW, your tank's in backward
