Dubro Hinges
Hey guys. I'm in need of a little help with these hinges I'm using.
Their hinges by Dubro. They resemble a cloth mesh-type material that you cut to shape after you make the hinge slot. My problem is the directions call for thin ca to use in the slots but the directions for the the kit (Midwest Aero-Star) say to use epoxy. What will give me a better, longer lasting grip of the hinges? Hopefully someone out there knows what type of hinges I'm talking about! Also, anyone have any methods to get the correct spacing for the elevator and stabilizer sections? Thanks, MockV |

Check the package from your description they sound like CA hinges. If so use thin CA. Check out minnflyers article on installing CA hinges if you are unsure

Thank You!
Thanks alot Crashem. I've read the article and the drilling of the hole will work out alot. And it looks like they are the ca hinges too. If I was going to use the epoxy, I was worrying mostly how to get it in the slot. But the thin ca will take care of that along with drilling the whole.
Thanks again! :D |
