I was born and raised in OK. I'm currently in KS. But one thing, us Okies always find some way to see humor in everything we do. We just take it as it comes. As well as other parts in this great country of ours. We are just a little more laid back. Don't know why. Yes I do. :D
Well, if truth be told I'm not a native here. I'm an Army transplant. I grew up in Missouri. Traveled around the world for a bit on Uncle Sugars dime, and then decided to stay here after I messed my back up and got out on a medical discharge.

I was stationed at Fort Sill for a little while. I`ve never gotten in so much trouble before and since. The Strip was one of the toughest , wildest place`s I ever visited. Man it was great,

Yeah, I remember the strip from when I did basic here. But that is long gone, it is no more here in Lawton. We are all good clean folk now!!!! ;)

Oh no it's not tough, you've got it all wrong Insanemoondoggie,

We just go with the changes. When it rains..........grab a beer/or a dr pepper, If its sunny..........grab a beer/or a cherry dr pepper, any other time, just grab yourself a dp and sit back and enjoy. Dr Pepper is a popular drink in these parts.
