Tx trouble

HI everyone,
Ok I have a problem with a Tx,
the Tx used to be throttle on the right stick, but I swapped around the parts to give me throttle on the left stick.

Now I have two problems,

1, The left stick seems to operate channel two on the Rx,no great problem,It's just I was told the motor should go on channel 1.

2, The other problem Is the throttle stick seems to work back to front,ie stick fully forward = no throttle and
stick pulled back toward the bottom of the Tx =increasing motor speed.

Surely this should be the other way around,ie push the stick forward to increase the motor speed.

The Tx I'm using Is an old fm one a futaba skysport 6A,not a computer type control.

I'm not to sure but I think It may have something to do with these dials and switches In the back of my Tx but I'm far to inexperienced to go randomly twidling things.

Thanks Paul.

G'day Paul,
Some of those switches should reverse the servo connected to the appropriate channel on the receiver.
It should say servo reverse, your pic was too blurry to tell which ones are which..

Hey thanks Allan,
that worked,

I don't know why but for some reason last night I was switching the servo reverse on channel ONE and wondering why It wouldn't reverse the throttle,
you know with the motor on channel TWO.
I can't believe I've been so imeasurably thick.(slapps forehead)

Yeah Allan I just switched channel two and It works the corect way,
Thanks,Allan.

Paul.

Had someone do a radio mod like yours here. It ended up like yours AND he now has dual rates on the throttle via the elevator dual rate switch. May want to take out your dual rate settings for the elevator as they won't work anyway.:D The guy here uses the dual rate switch as a kill switch now.

i think i'd keep my eyes open for a good (possibly used) 6 or 7 channel computer radio. it would make things alot easier for you, thats for certain. and it'll be something that you can grow "in" to. lots of wonderful features in them...check it out. i use a futaba 7cap . i've got my 6 models all stored in there....one controller. just select the proper model that you're flying and the radio is already set to that plane's trims and settings. it's a wonderful thing. just fly!
