Are you asking for feedback or did you have a question? :)

They look great to me. I can't afford them, but if need someone to test out a dozen sets of them, let me know. :)

Well....since were on the subject of wheels...this is how I've been doing axles for years...the sholder bolts and nuts are usually several cents at the ACE hardware store...and it sure beats using collars.

Looks to me like the screw to hold the wheel on should be longer.

sorry

Hey guys....im sorry i was just using the board to show some pics of some wheels to a friend who not to great around a computer. im tryinh to make some axles for these are standard HPI 26mm rims.....we thought it would be kewl to have some pimpn rims and tires on our sport planes....

our problem is that on a car the axle spins. On planes the axles are stationary and the wheels move around them...

so my buddy was messing around with cad trying to show me some ideas on what he was thinking of....THATS IT NO BIG DEAL

Yeh -- isn't it supposed to be long enough to go to the other wheel? LOL

jetfreak 02-21-2003 01:30 PM

cost

ok.....the cost for the rims are about 9$ retail (2 rims for 9)

and tires will run you about 13-15$ (depending on tread)( qty 2)

so for about 25 dollars.....you have 2 pretty kewl looking tires/rims for your sport/trainer planes..

Now you just need an custom made axle....well you don't need but we are gonna try to make it so that if you want to change rims you go buy a set of of 9 dollar rims.....yank your old tires off and presto.....a whole new look.........

thanks.....

Just $9??? Are they metal hubs? If so then I guess I was wrong about not being able to afford them. I expected to see a price tag of $30+.

Impressive. Most impressive.

metal?

No the rims are chrome covered plastic......but i have jumped on-road and off road cars and never once have i broke a plastic rim.

Now i have grinded on few away on curbs and what not....but never broke one.....but there is always a first for everything
