Tiger Trainer Parts

I am looking for the plastic pieces for a Tiger Trainer 60. This includes the top of the Fuselage, Wing tips, Stab tips and cowl.

If anyone can help I would appreciate it greatly.

I am going to fix my crash damage and just thought if I can find these parts it would make it look that much better. They have been cracked before I got it and I didn't do it any justice.

If not does anyone have any tricks for making the cracks unseen. I thought about painting the parts after patching but suggestions are welcome as well as needed.

Thank you,

Del

P.S. I did search the internet without luck[:o]

O.K. I was just downstairs looking it over again.

I am thinking that I could pull the plastic off and sheet it with 1/16th balsa and have a good look (maybe a little boxier) My concern is weight. There is already a little weight added to the tail so maybe it would balance better?

Has anyone ever done this? Maybe I should talk about this on another forum? Ken if you think it would get better results let me know and go ahead and move it.

Thanks,

Del

RE: Tiger Trainer Parts

You can find parts for most any Thunder Tiger ARF here:

http://www.thundertiger4u.com

Your owner's manual can be your parts guide. Thunder Tiger provides a complete parts inventory at the front of each manual and the part number is given for each subgroup in case you need to order something.

For example, if you check page 4 of the [link=http://www.thundertiger4u.com/pdf/4556Pegasus.pdf]Pegasus ARF manual[/link] it lists the tail feathers as AS6117. If you enter AS6117 into the search tool on the http://www.thundertiger4u.com website, it will spit out the pricing ($26.23) and let you click "buy now" to order them. You will get everything shown in that group in the manual - vertical and horizontal stabilizers, rudder, elevator, CA hinges, and the dorsal fin that goes in front of the vertical stabilizer.

This is a wonderful system for helping owners order exactly the replacement parts that they need.

Thanks bigedmustafa,

The only problem with that is I don't have the manual. I bought it used. I found that site but the only part listed for the 60 size was the cowl.

Thank you,

Del

Anyone have a parts list for this plane? If so I could use the #'s for the parts listed above.

Thanks,

Del
