Slow stick build

The instructions with my Slow Stick are not written by someone that speaks english . My wife is Asian, I Know!!! ;). Anybody have some good advise? It goes together with common sense pretty well though.

Perhaps your wife can decipher them! :D I know what you mean, they were pretty poor.

Read slowly and study the pictures a lot. Then fake it.:D Next time check out the manual before you buy. This can often be done online or in the LHS if buying there. Don't be so tacky as to read the manual at the LHS and then buy online - not nice. It's not a public library.

Thanks for the link it really did help a lot.
Seems GWS needs to standardize their kits a little as mine had differences from the one in the build , the instructions and from other members.
The overall quality seems good and I am confident that all will end well. I got the impression this was more a park flyer but it really is big, its as big as my .25 size Sig Trainer. Sokay I have a big park. LOL. :D

GWS needs one of you guys to go over and sort them out!!! I am Chinese but when I built mine I just looked at the pictures carefully only. That is the best way to work on GWS stuff.

It's big, but the "Slow" part of the name is quite appropriate. While I don't recommend this for inexperienced pilots, I've flown mine from the street in front of my house. For reference, I live on a culdesac, at the time I did this mine was the only house, and almost all of the car traffic on the road was mine. The street is lined on both sides by tall trees. I'd say there's only about 60 feet of clearance. With almost constant turning, I was able to fly it just fine. Bottom line, due to its slow flight, it definitely is a park flier.

I'll go!!! It's been a while since I've been to Taiwan, I'd love to visit again.

Bayward thanks for the link. I see my kit also contains some of the mods you reccomend. ie: carbon fiber fuse, pre drilled stabilizer and fuse etc.
