Stunts
Is there a good website out there that give pictures and/or video of how to do stunts?

RE: Stunts
Not sure about a website, but, there was a good book about aerobatics that described the moves, drawings showing the move, and a detailed section on how judges score maove at a competetion.
I can't remember the name of it, I think it was just called 'basic aerobatics'. it had a picture of Hanno Prettner on the cover. Anyone else know the name of this book?? Also, the G3.5 sim includes a virtual instructor section. You are shown moves by top pilots and told how to do them. A Tx is shown so you can see the control inputs. This covers both planes and helis. Hope this helps. |

http://www.mini-iac.com/DesktopDefault.aspx --> 2007 Basic & Sportsman How To Fly The Sequence --> Basic
Google for Aresti Made Simple for a good reference. Then there is 3d but I don't know of a good reference for it. Picking out a few of the sequences from the IMAC Basic routine and learning to fly them well will help you become a better pilot. somegeek |
RE: Stunts
I just purchased and installed FS One. The only plane I have in the FS One hangar is the Alpha. However I would like to practice with some of the other planes like the Twist, Edge, etc.. to get better with my own planes.

RE: Stunts
I found that this website is a good place to start [link=http://www.masportaviator.com/fh_advancedtraining.asp]Sport Aviator's Advanced Training[/link]. I am currently working on the rudder training to get my self ready for some advanced 3d stuff.
I also got one of my instructors to talk me through some stunts and ensure that my aircraft was capable of it. Hope this helps Cheers Pups |
