Nitro Parkflyers??

Anyone knows where I can get a Nitro Parkflyers. I have bunch of Electric ones but they are not as LOUD ;)

I`ve looked around for something that would fly nitro in a small place and keep coming back to electric .

How big is the park? I like the Clancy Lazy Bee ... she is nice to fly but its better in EP than a 15 sized glow.

In many areas fueled planes are prohibited and electrics are tolerated in parks... but just barely.

Upset that apple cart and the cumulative effect is that you may inadvertantly hasten the demise of electrics in your local parks.

When you go fueled, fly in a sanctioned field, or at worst your OWN private property w/o leaving the boundries to avoid problems...

Not sure, but the I think the phrase started before the electrics. With the Cox Q-Zone muffled 1/2 A's. They were advertized to be quite enough to be flown in parks, and either they or some magazine articles refered to them as park flyers or some similar term.

I think they used to be called "schoolyard flyers". Little 1/2A planes that could be flown on an unused baseball or football field or parking lot.

I agree with RCKen, don't push it or you will find electrics not tolerated either. Furthermore, a .40 electric conversion doesn't belong in a park anymore than its glow counterpart does.
