How big is the park? I like the Clancy Lazy Bee ... she is nice to fly but its better in EP than a 15 sized glow.

From Wikipedia
[link]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Park_flyer[/link]

The term park flyer denotes a class of small, primarily electric powered radio controlled aircraft, so named because their size enables some of them to be operated within the confines of a large public park. Some are slow and docile enough to fly within an enclosed area such as a gymnasium or even a living room[1]; while others require the open space needed for larger models due to size and/or speed.
The definition of Park Flyers means that they are electrics. If you move up to a glow powered plane, no matter how small, it's usually not considered a Park Flyer any longer. If you try to fly a small glow powered plane where Park Flyer's normally fly you may find that it's not as accepted, or allowed, as the electric planes are.

My 2 cents worth

In many areas fueled planes are prohibited and electrics are tolerated in parks... but just barely.

Upset that apple cart and the cumulative effect is that you may inadvertantly hasten the demise of electrics in your local parks.

When you go fueled, fly in a sanctioned field, or at worst your OWN private property w/o leaving the boundries to avoid problems...

Not sure, but the I think the phrase started before the electrics. With the Cox Q-Zone muffled 1/2 A's. They were advertized to be quite enough to be flown in parks, and either they or some magazine articles refered to them as park flyers or some similar term.

I think they used to be called "schoolyard flyers". Little 1/2A planes that could be flown on an unused baseball or football field or parking lot.

I agree with RCKen, don't push it or you will find electrics not tolerated either. Furthermore, a .40 electric conversion doesn't belong in a park anymore than its glow counterpart does.
