RE: a plane for a .09 enya?
Ace Hobby has a full line of quick building "simple flier" kits that could be a good project for you. Something in a trainer configuration would be easy to assemble and relatively easy to fly:
http://www.acehobby.com/ace/ACE4245.htm http://www.acehobby.com/ace/ACE4246.htm You can find the Ace Hobby Simple Series kits at http://www.thundertiger4u.com or at http://www.infinitehobbies.com. I have purchased from both places and have no hesitation recommending either. My first pick would be the Whizzard since it has tail-dragger landing gear. It will be much easier to take off and land in the grass. The Alpha would be fun to fly from a paved runway if you have one available. |

Those look gr8 but my fault i should have asked for plans!
i have lots of depron and correx sheet available to me -works out cheaper on repairs as well! if theres plans for those sorts of plane that would just about hit the nail on the head!!! they look fairly easy to build/repair![&:]lol i have 2 or 3 micro servos hanging about as well! so im nearly set to go! |
RE: a plane for a .09 enya?
I know a lot of the classic old Ace kits are normally available as plans only. I'm afraid that hunting down old plans is not anything I'm familiar with, however.
Ace was kind enough to mention the original designers: Owen Kampen designed the Whizard and Tom Runge designed the Alpha. You might have some luck checking in with the AMA plans service or some of the other usual sources. With the kits selling for $39.99 however, you could build your first from the kit then scratch build subsequent planes down the road. With the price that plans are selling for these days, you probably won't get plans delivered for much less anyway. Good luck and good shopping! |

Try http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_2301186/tm.htm very nice plane and lot of fun to build, also well documented.
