I learned to fly on this plane.

I assume that the problem is more that just loose wires? You have to keep those nylon strings tight or the controls do not work.

How many flights do you have on this plane?

You adjust them from the tail. Make sure that both sides are equally tight. Always check to see that the strings are tight before each flight.

Hope this helps. bob

Thanks Bob,

I figured out that one of the wire from the v-tail is broken in the fuselage. How do irepair it from the inside

And by the way my airplane has somehow managed to fly 20-25 flights.

Thanks again

I do believe that you can repair the plane. Get yourself some fishing line of the proper size.

To take the inside unit out of the plane do the following:

Take the foam out from the front of the plane. The foam is held in place by 2 pins. One of each side of the fuselage. Take these out and remove the foam.

Unhook the elevator string at the tail. Take the prop off and remove the motor mount screws. Now remove the 4 screws on the bottom of the plane. These hold the electronic board that contains the servo. I believe the board can now be removed through the front of the plane. Now thread a new line into the body tube. Thread it from the back. Be careful that you do not pull the good string through. If you do just run an additional new string. Put the new string on the control unit. Use a good knot. Then reassemble the unit. It will take a little effort to get the bottom 4 screws back in plane.

Hope you get your plane flying.

I just loved my XL. Think I will check and see if any of my batteries are still good and go fly it again.

Let me know how you get alone.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH BOB!!!!!!!

THAT was indeed a very nice tip. but after taking the chip out found that the wires were still connected but loose So i am hoping that after glueing them properly that thing will fly again

I would never even dreamed that the chip could come out of the front canopy But thankas to u!!!!!

Shaurya please let us know if you get it flying again. If you havn't already reassembled the unit test the servo while you can see it function. bob

HI BOB

Yeah i Tested the servo but it broke down again. After struggling for a couple of minutes i found that the worm gear of the servo motor slips and moves upward thus making no contact. so i think i will have to probably glue the worm gear. But no severe problems thanks

oh yeah by the way did u get urr XL up in the air again???????

Thanks again
Shaurya
