robostruts

Do robostruts have shock absorbing capability? If so, how much travel? I have never seen one in person and am curious. Also are they usable on a grass strip? I like the scale look, but fly from grass and would give up the scale look for utility.

Regards,
Jerry

You can see from the parts list that they have a spring inside them. Not an actual shock absorber but will will do some.

Haven't flown them or seen in person.

Robo Struts will not absorb a bad landing like coiled piano wire so you will experience some torn out gear unless you can grease the plane in, even on a paved runway. They look more scale, and do smooth out the taxi, they just don't bend backwards like the coil is designed to do.

Randy
