bought a skyfly what next
 

I have several month experience flying both helicopters and airplanes in real life and in a simulator. I own a hobbico skyfly and am looking for a more powerful and performing plane that is gas and under $400( a jet or simular palne). What plane do you recommend would be the best for the money and for my experince. Your opinion will help me to decide what to buy. Please include a website that sells the plane if you know it too. :D:D

The only thing even remotely close to a gas jet that would come anywhere near you being able to handle with your experience, that I can think of, is the Hangar 9 F22 PTS. It is just a little over your budget but not by much and I would strongly suggest getting an instructor at a local club along with it.

Definately get an instructor, a trainer may be a better choice, you can get one well under 400 and you probably wont crash it

hangar 9 Alpha .40 trainer is an excellent trainer. you get a transmitter, plane, engine, everything needed for the plane (servos etc) and even their flight sim software for under $400

can't go wrong with that deal. it is a great trainer to learn on and still fun to fly after you learn the basice. you can do basic aerobatic stuff with it. only advice i will give you is that even though it mentions nothing in the assembly instructions, it is a good idea to epoxy the wing halves together during the assembly of the plane. adds almost no weight, and a ton of confidence.
