Flight Simulators for MAC
Does anybody make a flight simulator for Macintosh computers? I use two at work and have two at home. Being a newby, crashing on a sim appears to be a whole lot cheaper than crashing my trainer! Please advise!:D |
RE: Flight Simulators for MAC
Won't it run on the MAC - PC Emulator?

RE: Flight Simulators for MAC
I run all of the software application programs that most PCs do, but do not have a PC emulator package on any of my MACs. They all run on OS10x.

RE: Flight Simulators for MAC
I've not seen an RC simulator for the Mac, but then again, I never really looked nor had a reason to look. Perhaps checking with RealFlight or AFP might give you some insight as to what is or may be available for the MAC ?

RE: Flight Simulators for MAC
Thanks for the suggestions. I've only been into RC for a couple of months:
I was in the Navy and in Pensacola, Florida in 1973 when I first saw sailors flying RC planes off the flight deck of the Lexington into Pensacola Bay. I've wanted to get into this hobby since, but have been a poor lowly educator (and parent) with NO spare $$! I quit smoking about 4 months ago (you might ask where THAT $$ came from!) and my wife mentioned that I needed to reward myself with the like equivelent in $$, so away I went. What a setup I have! Our local club's airfield is the old city landfill and it's only a mile from my house. Now if I could just get to the retirement stage in my life (May 30, 2008) I'll have it made! |
RE: Flight Simulators for MAC
Try this question in the simulators forum. Or you can take a look at this thread: [link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_4748004/anchors_4748004/mpage_1/key_mac%252Csimulator/anchor/tm.htm#4748004]here.[/link] I didn't read through it all, but I assume it would have some helpful info.
