Are we talking about an ARF?
If so put the hinges in the precut slots. (CA hinges are very easy to install by the way)
Download the instructions for any Hangar 9 or Great Planes ARF and you will get easy to follow instructions for installing CA hinges IN ENGLISH.
The Robarts would go in the same slots but you may have to resize the slot a bit.
If there are no precut slots then evenly space the hinges.
If a hinge is too long cut off what you need to.
Tug on the control surface after the glue sets and make sure it is held firmly.
It seems daunting at first but after you put an airplane together it really isn't all that hard.

Hey Missileman can you tell me how to use a incidence meter.

RE: i

Sorry, never used one. All of my airplanes are either ARFs or kits and the incidence is already set by the manufacturer (at least on the models that I have had)
