will this engine work ?

just got the P-40E warhawk with 73" wing they say use a 4 cycle 1.40 and it's flown with a saito 1.50 ... I have a supertiger glow engine I was told it is a 2500 bet the only thing I find on it is 2000 and a big "S" if any one can tell me if this engine will work and if anyone knows what this engine is it would help me out alot. I'm new to the sport of flying .

Thanks: Don aka: Maverick

Don-

One thing you don't mention is your plan for the p-40. You say you are new to the sport of flying. I assume you are not planning on trying to learn to fly with the P-40. If you are, it really won't matter what engine you use. In fact, you're better off with an engine that won't actually get it off the ground. Much less damage that way.

I assume you already know that the way to learn to fly is with a trainer-type airplane and an instructor.

scott-
yes I am new to the sport but I guess I should of said new in building not flying. I have 6 years in the air and 6 years of repair but new to swaping engines and whatnot. I've been flying warbirds and 3-D about 4 years . But thanks for your input but sounds like you don't know anymore than me.

Maverick, It is against RCU policy to post the same question twice. So since you have the other thread asking the same question, I'm going to have to lock this one. Sorry.
