Multiplex Cularis Radio
I'm trying to figure this out. The instruction manual says you need a 4 channel. I'm thinking about getting a 6 channel futaba 2.4ghz radio (also comes with the servos S3114 that I think will work well with the Cularis). I'd rather not spend the money for the Futaba 7C. Would the 6 Channel be good enough for this aircraft? I'm mostly a sailplane/parkflyer type of person.

This should work fine with the Futaba 6EX 2.4 radio http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0161p?&I=LZ0129 for @ $261 Be sure to get an appropriate battery pack and other needed equipment. |
RE: Multiplex Cularis Radio
WOW, thank you for the quick reply! Speaking of power packs I'm going to get this:
http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...0&I=LXSBS9&P=K But am wondering about battery size as per this chart: http://www.maxxprod.com/pdf/HC3522-0700.pdf Thinking of this battery: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...0&I=LXMGS3&P=K for its wieght and 18C. Could this motor and speed controler handle a 20C? |
RE: Multiplex Cularis Radio
I'm not really an electric flight guy so I'd just be guessing. Someone will come along and help with that issue. BUT, good radio.:)
